MISS ME - BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no tears or gloom-filled room
Why cry for a Soul set free?
Miss me a little - but not to long,
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we all shared,
Miss me - but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone
It's all part of the master plan
A step on the road to Home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
See family and friends we know
Take time to heal, thou' we must part
Miss me - but let me go.

On Thursday noon last there arrived in Renfrew by the Winnipeg Express the body of Joseph Wrobel, a young man who had been killed while at work in the mines's near Sudbury, Ontario. He had left his home at Ashdad only three weeks before. At the time of the accident they were working at the base of the consolidated mass of roast ore with his brother. They had come to the conclusion that it would have to be blown apart with dynamite, and had just put down their tools when it gave way. Joseph was completely covered with the weighty mass. the brother was only pinned by the feet and was soon released, but it took about twenty minutes to release Joseph from his imprisonment and he had received such injuries that he died the next day. The deceased was nineteen years of age. He was a son of Mr. Joe Wrobel of Ashdad and a nephew of August Ritza of Renfrew and a fine young man.
